Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah has been named to the roster of Fort Wayne Mad Ants ahead of the NBA Gatorade League (G League) 2020-2021 season.
This comes on the back of Brimah missing out on a place in Indiana Pacers team for the NBA season; the former University of Connecticut player was subsequently assigned to Pacers affiliate team in the G League, Fort Wayne.

By making the roster of Mad Ants, the 6 foot 10 inch Brimah becomes the second Ghanaian born player to do so after Ben Bentil featured on Fort Wayne’s roster in the 2016-2017 season.

Bentil played 20 games and started four for Mad Ants and averaged 12.1 points and 4.5 rebounds in 21.7 minutes; he was drafted 51st overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by Boston Celtics and now plies his trade in Greece for Panathinaikos Basketball Club.

Brimah isn’t new to competing in the G League since he has two years experience with G League side Austin Spurs; he won the league title in 2018 with Austin.
