Basketballghana.com can report in the immediate aftermath of featuring in Panathinaikos’ 500th game in EuroLeague history, Ghana’s Ben Bentil was in scintillating form for the Athens club.

Bentil scored 12 points in 13 minutes off the bench in a 78-80 loss to Promitheas in the Greek A1 Basketball League over the weekend.

The 6 foot 8 inch player who plays both the Small Forward and Power Forward positions added two rebounds to his scoring tally and was one of only three Panathinaikos players to score in double digits.

He converted three of four shots from two point range and three of five free throws respectively while nailing his solo attempt from three point range in the contest.

The contest was played little over 24 hours after Panathinaikos beat Valencia Basket in the EuroLeague on Friday, January 29 in Greece,

Panathinaikos plays bitter rival Olympiacos next in the EuroLeague on February 5 in an all Greek clash.
