Ghana Center Amida Brimah made a brief appearance in Indiana Pacers big win over Charlotte Hornets in the opening round of the Play In Tournament.

Indiana beat Hornets 144-117 to set up a game against Washington Wizards who lost 100-118 to Boston Celtics in the other Play In Tournament Game. Boston has progressed to the playoffs with the seventh seed.

The winner of the tie between Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards qualifies to the NBA playoffs as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

6 foot 10 inch defender Brimah played just two minutes in the winning contest for Indiana but registered no statistic in the points, rebounds, assists or blocks column.

He is listed as a backup Center to Goga Bitadze after signing a two way contract with the Pacers following a stint with Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Gatorade League.

Brimah continues to fill in for the injured Myles Turner who has been ruled out indefinitely due to a foot injury.
