Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Small Forward Kobby Aytetey has joined Bowie State University Men’s Basketball Team and will compete in the 2021-2022 College Basketball Season.
Ayetey joins Bowie State as a Graduate Student after graduating from North Carolina Central University earlier this year. He holds a degree in Behavioural and Social Sciences and gained wide spread popularity as a major subject of a documentary on North Carolina Central’s Men’s Basketball team.

Ayetey takes a wealth of experience at the American College level to Bowie State after playing two years at Baltimore City Community College and North Carolina Central University.

The 6 foot 6 inch Forward will wear jersey number 22 at Bowie State; he wore jersey number 21 during his time at North Carolina Central.

Ayetey is one of three graduate students on Bowie State University’s roster; Godlyvictor Okafor and Tyler Jones are the remaining graduate students on the roster.

The team is expected to play Howard University and Marquette University to open the new season. Ayetey was born in Accra before moving to the US.
