In the first of three Euroleague games, Milano lost 58-67 to Olympiakos; Olimpia is scheduled to play Russian side UNICS Kazan and Panathinaikos on March 1 and March 4 respectively though political tensions could force the matchup against Kazan to be postponed.

After bagging its eighth Italian Basketball Cup title this past weekend, Olimpia Milano returned to action and competed against Greek side Olympiakos but suffered a loss.

Ghana Forward Ben Bentil came off the bench for Milano and registered two points and a steal in eight minutes whole converting one of two shot attempts overall in the game. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)

His sole converted shot came via a two handed dunk in the closing minutes of the first quarter of the game; Bentil slammed a two handed dunk after gathering a pass from Sergio Rodriguez on a quick break to give Milano a 15-7 lead. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)

Bentil played three seasons in Greece for Peristeri and Panathinaikos and is in line to play his former team early next month. He won two league titles and a Greek Cup title during his time in Greece.
