Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Center Emmanuel Dowuona put in a very good shift on defence to lead the blocks category in North Carolina State University Men’s Basketball Team’s latest loss of the 2021-2022 Regular Season.

North Carolina State lost 61-69 to Boston College condemning the latter to a record of 11 wins and 17 losses for the season that has been disappointing.

Dowuona registered a game leading six blocks, four points, two assists and seven rebounds in 33 minutes as a starter. Dereon Seabron was one of only two Wolfpack players to score in double figures and led North Carolina with 21 points. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)

Second year player Dowuona was efficient in the game as he scored on two of three shot attempts from the field and turned the ball over once. He grabbed five offensive rebounds in the loss.

In 27 games played this season, the 6 foot 11 inch defender is averaging two blocked shots per game; he played just nine games in his first year.

North Carolina State plays University of North Carolina on February 26 next.
