Fire (white) v Navy in ABL Women's Division

Accra Basketball League (ABL) Chairman Ayitey Bulley has voiced his intentions to replicate basketball’s global impact and popularity in Ghana.

His made this intention known at the Media Launch of the 2022 Accra Basketball League Season held earlier today at the De’lish Restaurant.

The well attended presser had ABL Director Alex Kukula and ABL Vice Chairman Dr. Eric. Opoku-Antwi present at the event. The 2022 Season is set to commence on Tuesday, March 8 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.

Speaking on a wide range of topics at the event, Chairman Bulley stated, “The key thing is to have the youth something else for the youth to do apart from playing football another avenue because football is big but basketball is about the next big thing in the world and we would like to position it as such in this country”.

Navy (Blue) v TUSK

20 teams will compete in the Men’s Division I and nine teams will compete in the Men’s Division I while nine teams will compete in the Women’s Division II this season.
