Braves (white) v Air Force in 2022 ABL Women's Regular Season

Two games, two wins it is for 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division title contenders Reformers of Prisons and Braves of Customs.

The pair has recorded two wins in as many league appearances made so far this season; both teams competed in the 2021 Playoffs.

Reformers made it to the Finals and was a win away from clinching the title and has started the new campaign aiming to return to the finals. The team beat Ghana National Fire Service 72-36 in its latest outing on the back of clinching a 37-26 win over Ghana Army.

Perennial league champions Braves has missed out on the title in the past two seasons but is off to a strong start in 2022 recording a 54-22 win over Galaxy Basketball Academy in its second game after bagging a 48-23 win over Ghana Air Force previously.

Nine teams are competing in the 2022 campaign and the top four ranked teams at the end of the regular season progress to the playoffs.
