Basketballghana.com gathers Iungo World’s Tour of Ghana is heading to the West African nation’s Western Region after touching base in Accra and Cape Coast earlier this week.

The Western regional leg of the tour is scheduled to take place at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Court on Wednesday, March 23. The program commences at 8:00 AM.

Iungo World is a digital platform that connects athletes to the world for further career related opportunities; the organization’s tour in Ghana is to aid boost grassroots basketball.

This past weekend a basketball camp and coaching course was held at the University of Ghana Main Campus; the entourage is set to do same in Cape Coast in the Central Region today.

The Camp is led by former American-Kazakhstani Point Guard Jerry Johnson who has a 13 year professional career on his CV. He won three Belgian League titles during his three year run at Spirou Charleroi and won multiple Kazakhstani league titles during his time at Astana.

Player participant at the camp will undergo training in aspects of the sport including reading of a defense, finishing skills and mental toughness.
