A handful of participants at the Takoradi leg of Iungo World’s Ghana Tour were rewarded for excelling in drills and exhibition games organized by the Sports Group.

The Camp was held earlier today at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Court after similar events were held in Accra and Cape Coast prior.

Training sessions in finishing skills and conditioning and floor spacing were led by former 13 year pro player Jerry Johnson. The Point Guard played in Belgium, Turkey and Kazakhstan in his professional career.

The well attended event had participants from Bompeh Senior High School, Shama Senior High School and St. John’s School well represented. Shama won the 2020 Sprite Ball Xpressions Championship in the Female category.

The schools were presented with basketballs to aid their training sessions while standout participants were given basketball sneakers.

Dignitaries present at the Camp mainly Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President Ato Van-Ess and Western Basketball Association (WBA) Chairman William Ocran led the presentation ceremony.

The entourage is expected in Kumasi and Tamale in the coming days.
