Basketballghana.com can report three fixtures in the Volta Basketball League (VBL) have been scheduled to take place this weekend. The games are to be played on Saturday, May 14.
The upcoming games form part of the 2021-2022 Regular Season schedule; the league is organized under the auspices of the Volta Basketball Association (VOBBA).
Mbf takes on Akpini Snipers in the first of the three planned games at Franco, Hohoe on Saturday before Sancity Young Ballers play Akatsi Rifles later in the day.
Rifles game is sue to take place at the Keta Senior High School (KETASCO) Basketball Court. Ho Technical University (HTU) round up the fixtures with a matchup against Harlem on Sunday, May 15.
HTU’s Court will host the game; Akatsi Rifles played Aftown Flames in the opening game played on April 30 at the Akatsi Main Court.
A basketball clinic was organized prior to the start of the league to engage young individuals in the sport and raise awareness of the league in the region.
