The win was Scafati’s third win in a row that gives Givova a 3-0 series win in the best of five game series and progression to the semifinal stage.

Cournooh moved from Serie A Vanoli Cremona just before the team’s relegation from the premier division was confirmed. Aside scoring 15 points, the veteran Guard added three rebounds and an assist in 17 minutes off the bench.

Monferrato had just two players score in double figures but Cournooh was one of four Scafati players to score in double figures. Cournooh scored seven and 13 points respectively in Game One and Game Two.

Cournooh and Scafati take on the winner of the Piacenza-Ferrari series that is tied 1-1. Cournooh won the Serie A title during his time at Virtus Bolgna.
