Olimpia Milano and Virtus Bologna competed in the 2021 Italian Serie A Basketball League Finals Series and Bologna swept the series by winning four straight games to lift the title.
In the ongoing 2022 League Playoffs, both teams look set to face off in the finals for the second year in a row as both teams need another win in their respective series to progress to the Finals.
All semifinal playoff series are determined via a best of five games series and heading to Game 3, Milano and Bologna have bagged two wins apiece.
Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is competing in the league for the first time after signing for Milano in late 2021 and played 21 minutes in Game One and 15 minutes in Game Two.
Milano beat Sassari 91-82 in Game 2 and 88-71 in Game 1 while defending league champions Bologna beat Tortona 91-70 in Game 2 for its second win in the series. [Click highlighted text to watch game highlights]
Virtus plays Game 3 later today while Milano gets the chance to win its third game on Wednesday, June 1.
