Basketballghana.com can confirm the 2021-2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Regular Season Second Round will commence later tonight.
League games across the Women’s Division and Men’s Division II are to be played tonight at the Prisons Court Court in Cantonments.
University of Ghana [UG] plays Ghana Navy in the opening game at 15:30 GMT in the Women’s Division; UG ranks fifth in the league with Navy ranked eighth in the nine team league standings.
UG plays DUNK Invaders in the follow up game and Galaxy Basketball takes on North Kaneshie Swanlakers in the last of the scheduled games for today.
Galaxy played in last season’s finals in a three way three team series alongside Ghana Navy and TUSK Foundation and ranks first in Group A. TUSK topped the trio to lift the title.
Games in the Men’s Division I are to be played out later this week. Ghana Police Service and Reformers of Prisons won the 2021 Women’s Division and Men’s Division I titles.
