Basketballghana.com can confirm Takoradi born Small Forward-Shooting Guard Akwasi Yeboah has signed for Turkish Super League Basketball side Darrussafaka Istanbul.

The Ghanaian-British International player recently signed for the Turkish side after moving from St. Chamond in the French Pro B League.

25 year old Yeboah played College Basketball at Rutgers University for a year after spending time at Stony Brook University following his move from his English base.

In 37 games for St. Chamond last season, the 6 foot 6 inch wing player Yeboah averaged 13.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Ghana’s biggest basketball portal gathers Yeboah is the second international player signed to Darrussafaka’s roster for the 2022-2023 season. Albanian international Ercan Osmani has been signed to the roster.

In the 2020-2021 season, Yeboah averaged 12 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 32 games for Saint Quentin also in Pro B.

Yeboah has represented the United Kingdom at the international level since 2020 and is set to compete in his third season as a professional player.
