Basketballghana.com can confirm Spintex Knights Basketball Club has progressed to the Finals Series of the 2022 Tema Basketball League-a Community based basketball league.
The team bagged a 60-49 win over Sakumono Titans in Game 3 of the best of four games series at the semifinal stage of the playoffs. The win was recorded this past weekend at the Tema Community 4 Court to give Knights a 2-1 series win. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
By making progress to compete in its second final in its second season in the league, Knights have setup a meet against Nungua Coldstore or Tema Community 4.
Coldstore and Community 4 are former winners of the league and will play Game 3 on Sunday, July 3 with the series tied 1-1. Coldstore have won the title three times.
A matchup between Knights and Coldstore would be a repeat of the 2019 League Finals Series that had Coldstore clinch its third title in the league’s young history.
