Basketballghana.com can confirm Spintex Knights Basketball League has qualified to the final game of the Tema Basketball League-a Community based basketball league.
Spintex Knights recorded a 60-49 win over Sakumono Titans in Game 3 of the semifinals series; the game was played out at the Tema Community 4 Court this past weekend. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
The 11 point win ensures Knights progresses to the Finals of the Tema League for the second time in its second season competing in the league. Its maiden run in the league had Knights miss out on the title after falling to Nungua Coldstore.
Progression to the final wrapped up a very good week for Knights as Spintex recorded an 85-31 win over Oyibi Eagles in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II days leading up to the Tema win. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
By beating Eagles, Knights recorded another big win in the league and maintain its unbeaten run in the division. The team is competing in the lower tier of Ghana’s most recognized basketball league.
