Henry Morgan, a representative of the St. John’s School, Sekondi Old Boys Association, has described the Sprite Ball Championship as an “amazing” competition.

He made this description in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com at the Basketball Honours event held at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Headquarters recently. (Click highlighted text to watch highlights from the event)

Morgan and a few other Old Boys were on hand to pick up the Best Old Student’s Association (Boys Division) Award for the Group’s outstanding contribution to their Alma Mater’s basketball program.

It’s very exciting…I think it’s great, it’s fair but I think all in all we have been excited about it we normally have Old Students flying all the way from US, the UK every year and those from all over the country to come and watch our boys we love what they do. Nicknamed the Old Saints, several members of the Association are permanent fixtures at the Sprite Ball Championship games cheering the young players. St. John’s won bronze at the 2016 Sprite Ball edition.
