Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian-American Guard Prince Ali has signed a deal to play for German side HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim and will compete for the team in the 2022-2023 Bundesliga Season.

The 25 year old 6 foot 3 inch Guard joins the German side after playing out last season in the Spanish Basketball League lower division-LEB Gold.

In 38 games for Easycharger Palencia, he averaged 13.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game to aid the team’s run to the semifinals in Palencia’s quest to qualify to the top flight division (Endesa League). (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)

Ali is a graduate of University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) and played with Atlanta Hawks Guard Aaron Holiday and 2019 56th overall NBA Draft pick Jaylen Hands.

HAKRO Merlins completed the 2021-2022 Bundesliga season outside the playoff spots with the team finishing ninth in the 18 team league standings.

Merlins ended the regular season campaign with 17 wins and 17 losses and aside signing Ali, the team added former Princeton University Guard Myles Stephens.
