Champions Customs Exercise and Preventive Service (CEPS) underlined their title ambitions in the week 6 of the ongoing Greater Accra Basketball league with a resounding 85-47 victory over Magic in a highly one –sided game on Friday.

Parading seasoned players like Patrick Gameli, Bamba Dodzie and Hashin Braimah, CEPS took the game to their opponent and pinned them to their own half to emphatic win to keep their unbeaten run intact.

Paradoxically it was Magic who took the first quarter 14-13 with start point guard Tsatsu Sakpaku at the thick of it with four goals and two rebounds.

But CEPS coach Braimah Lawah digged deep into his coaching artistry and made some few changes in the second quarter- bringing on Sulleman Mohammed and Frank Sadiq- who came in with power and pace to help them triumph 24-4.

Magic bounced back in the third quarter to earn a 20-20 points with their opponent but the final quarter belonged to CEPS who thumped them 28-10.

CEPS remain unbeaten after 6 weeks of matches and look good to clinch their 10th consecutive title.

Both sides showcased energy and power on the court and it was clear that the level of play and competition was extremely high.

Meanwhile Panthers lost to Ashaiman based Lions 54-52 to aid their push for the top spot.

The next round of matches takes place on Tuesday May 11 at the Lebanon House at Tudu in Accra.
