University of Education are through to the finals of the 2010 GUSA basketball games after an impressive display saw them overcome University of Mines and Technology  83-19 in a one sided game on Tuesday morning.

The Defending champions are looking good for their second title in two years and their semi-final showdown against the Tarkwa based school underlined their title credentials.

They displayed pure power and energy to dismantle their opponent who looked like passengers in the game.

They were outclassed by their opponent who played without influential shooting guard Meme Falconer. UEW have earned the right to play either UG or KNUST in the finals on Wednesday.

The host school takes on their arch rivals in the second semi-final game – with ticket to the grand finale on the cards for both of them.

The finals places in the ladies division will also be known later on Tuesday.
