Reformers coach Prosper Agbleta was left disillusioned after watching his side battered by CEPS in their Greater Accra basketball League game over the weekend.

CEPS were too strong both in physique and technique as they brushed aside Reformers of Prisons by a staggering 96-43 win at the Aviation Social Centre.

Baniba Dodzie, Daniel Nii Aryee, Richard Borsah and Hashim Brimah put up a vintage display to dispatch their opponent in a one-sided contest.

Right from the blast of the referee, Reformers lacked ideas and telepathy as they continued to play catch-ups.

Coach Prosper Agbleta, who doubles as the General Secretary of the Greater Accra Basketball Association claims he never saw the defeat coming.

“To be honest with you I didn’t see it (defeat) coming,” he said on the maiden edition of the Fast Break on TV3

“Everything went wrong for us. From defense to attack my boys just failed to come to the party.

“We allowed our opponent too much room to operate and that accounted for the heavy defeat.

“We are at the bottom at the moment but we’ll bounce back in style. I am confident we’ll not be relegated at all.”
