Galaxy Basketball Forward Enoch Boadi has made a bold declaration stating his team will emerge winners of the 2016 Greater Accra Men’s Division II Basketball League.
The young forward made the statement prior to the commencement of the new season on Saturday May 7 at the Lebanon House in Tudu, Accra. Galaxy Basketball will open the new season against CYO Basketball.
Speaking to Basketballghana.com, Boadi who doubles as a Marshalls University College Forward was confident his side will be able to win the division and gain qualification to the Division I. He said:
“We are training very well and we are preparing for the league because I think that we are going to emerge winners. Its’ a team and we know what we are capable of, we train well. I am just confident about my team”.
The 2016 Division II season will be opened by OSK taking on Panthers. Juniors takes on Tema Youth and Adenta Leopards take on Police in the day’s other games. Panthers will be hoping to gain promotion back to Division I after getting relegated from the league.
Ahead of their showdown with Police, Leopards Charles Annan has expressed firm belief in the Adenta-based side’s ability to move out of the region’s second tier.
