DC Dynamics Coach Feranmi Olulonyo has fingered inconsistencies as the main reason for his team’s winless run in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) 2016 season. Dynamics, who are making a debut appearance in the Men’s Division I after winning the Division II championship, are yet to win a game despite having the upper hand in both losses.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com, the highly rated coach elaborated on the team’s need to win games as early as possible to avoid falling back to the second tier. Citing missed free throws as of the areas his team needs to work on, Olulonyo quickly pointed out consistency was key. He said:

“If you look at the number of free throws we (Dynamics) missed, we had bad turnovers in the game, it all boils down to inconsistencies on our part. When we are very good, we are very good but when we are very bad, unfortunately, we are very bad. I think it’s just extreme highs and lows and we just have to find middle ground.”

In both losses, Dynamics has been the better team, sharing the ball well, excelling in cohesion and discipline.

However, the Dansoman side has fallen short in crunch time which has resulted in a last place position on the standings.
The team was scheduled to play Tudu Magic in Week Five but the game was rained off.
