Administrators of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) have issued a directive urging all stakeholders particularly players and team officials to honor fixtures that fall in line with the league’s timetable. The statement comes in the aftermath of consistent rain induced postponement of games which have brought the league to a halt.

With weather conditions looking favorable as at the time of writing, teams, per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com were in flux on which games would be played today. However, league representative Kofi Amanyor relayed an official stance from the league board.

“…follow the fixtures; all rained off matches would be rescheduled” he said.

Today’s games will have Navy play Holy Family, home side Tudu Magic play Teshie Rangers and Fire Service take on defending champions Braves of Customs in a top liner.

Incessant rain forced officials to postpone Week Four games in the men’s division which was due to have Reformers of Prisons play Air Force, Fire Service play Navy and Tudu Magic play DC Dynamics.

The women’s division was also affected by the rains as Week Five games scheduled to be played at Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra were called off.
