Defending Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I Champions Braves of Customs have inflicted a massive loss on Teshie Rangers in an outstanding league game played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu. Braves absolutely took apart Rangers to win the tie 100-36 in a landslide win for the Customs side.

The game which was originally scheduled to take place over the past weekend but had to be postponed due to referees refusal to officiate, was rescheduled to September 14 at the same venue to honour the tie.

Ahead of the fixture, Rangers Coach Wisdom Etsorgali stated his side’s readiness for Braves despite the quick change in schedule. However, the side barely played like a side ready for the challenge of the yet to be beaten opposition.

Having missed out on game action for almost two months due to a myriad of reasons including the one mentioned above, Braves showed signs of rustiness early in the game as the 29-13 lead at one point in the second quarter testified.

Conversely, the side was able to settle well where its’ experienced top notch players rolled over Rangers. By winning massively, Braves’ record for the season now stands at seven wins in seven games and will be looking for the eight of the season when the side takes on Tudu Magic on Friday.

Reformers of Prisons will play Fire Service on Friday as well.
