Veteran broadcaster Yaw Sakyi Afari has ended his tenure as host of highly rated basketball television show “Fast Break” which airs on Ghana channel TV3.

In what he stated as his last appearance as host of the show, Afari was grateful to the station and basketball fraternity for making the show a success and putting basketball on the map of the football dominated country.

Details on his next move remains a mystery as the former entertainment show host remains tight lipped about his future endeavor.

Since its first episode-which aired on June 1 2014, “Fast Break” has enjoyed a tremendous run of thrilling audiences with information and analysis from the world of basketball and has hosted prominent individuals in the game including 2015 NBA Hall of Fame inductee Dikembe Mutombo and Toronto Raptors General Manager Masai Ujiri.

Afari was in line to be named Sports Show Host of the Year at the 2016 Radio, Television and Personality (RTP) Awards as he was nominated for the top prize with Fast Break securing a spot in the Sports Program of the Year category.
