All Nations have qualified from Zone B
All Nations University College have recorded the first undefeated run in this year’s Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship after beating all three teams in Zone B.

The team, making its debut appearance, sealed a spot in the quarter finals in the process and is set to take on fellow zone winners in Accra on April 6 and 7.

All Nations beat favorite Valley View University, KAAF University and host team Koforidua Technical University to top the zone with maximum points.

A 24-17 win against KAAF in the final game capped off a historic feat for the team and a shock campaign that trumped highly fancied Valley View.

In last year’s edition, six teams finished the preliminary round with unblemished records in their respective zones.

University of Development Studies, University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Accra Technical University, Takoradi Technical University (TTU) and champions University of Ghana had similar winning runs.

TTU will be first in line to defend its record when the side plays in Zone C on March 3 at the University of Cape-Coast.
