Marshalls inched past UCC (red).

Marshalls University College’s crunch tie with University of Ghana (UG) has been postponed due to a clash of jerseys.

The much anticipated game between the two rivals was set to take place to mark the first round of games in the second round of the ongoing competition at UG.

With both teams in sets of blue jerseys, the game has been moved to the final round which takes place later at the same venue.

The game will conclude proceedings in Group A.

Both teams won their opening games with homeside UG beating KNUST 38-23 while Marshalls University piped University of Cape-Coast 52-51.

As a result, University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) plays University of Development Studies (UDS-Tamale) next with both teams in need of a win to stand any chance of making it to the next stage of the competition.

Only the top two teams in each group qualifies to the semifinals on April 8.
