Reformers (green) in action.
Reformers and Teshie Rangers played in the ABL Division I last year.

Reformers of Prisons Male Basketball Team will have to wait longer to make its debut in the Tema Community Basketball League due to the side’s scheduled tie against Korle-Bu Kings postponement.

The matchup got postponed to a yet to be named date following torrential rain that hit most parts of Accra and Tema.

Reformers was scheduled to take on the Kings in the second matchup in Group A at 16:30 GMT after defending champions Nungua Coldstore’s tie against Ashaiman Lions in a reenactment of last season’s final game.

The game would have been the team’s first appearance in the league after featuring in the preseason tournament that started in February and ended in early March.

Reformers failed to advance beyond the group stage in the competition.

The upcoming season is set to be a busy one for Reformers as the side will also compete in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Division Ii with sides like Teshie Rangers who are in Group A in the Tema League.
