Tema Heat has lost 61-82 in a friendly game against Reformers of Prisons earlier today at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.

The side got pummeled in a game that had both sides compete for almost two hours in a specially arranged match to test the fitness of either side ahead of upcoming fixtures.

Heat is set to play against Ghana Navy on Sunday May 28 at the Tema Community 4 Court while Reformers continues preparations for the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II later this year.

Reformers however, have an immediate date with Ghana Police in another friendly set to be played on Friday May 26.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com, Heat leader Fred Yeboah stated the game was to put his side in the right condition to play Navy who are yet to lose a game in the Tema League.

Heat came from a 16-19 first half deficit to beat AK Rifles in the last round of games in Tema.
