Ghana and University of Connecticut (UCONN) Center Amida Brimah has joined five other NBA prospects in a workout at the Los Angeles Lakers training facility ahead of the NBA Draft.

The Draft is set to take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York where 60 players will be picked by NBA teams to their roster.

The 6 foot 11 inch shot blocker played four seasons for the Huskies winning the National Championship in 2014 alongside Portland Trailblazers Shabazz Napier.

He joined fellow prospects Bryce Alford, Dwayne Bacon, Derrick Walton Jr. Jordan Bell and Kennedy Meeks in the workout in front of Lakers training staff members.

The session was watched by former Los Angeles Lakers Forward Lamar Odom who won two NBA Championships with the team and was named 2011 Sixth Man of the Year.

Despite his offensive limitations, Brimah checks as a serviceable player for Luke Walton’s high octane system as an above the rim finisher and pick and roll finisher.
