Rangers against Novas Academy (red) in 2016.
Ghana Police will be in action against Novas Academy in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The tie is scheduled to be honored after Panthers-Akatsi Rifles opening tie of the round at 17:00 GMT with both teams eager to make a strong case for their ambitions to feature in Division I.

Panthers have lost one game and won another in two appearances thus far in the season while Rifles have missed out on a win in as many games as Panthers.

However, the final game of the night pits the high flying experienced Police side against the young Novas team. Police has won two straight games while Novas has featured in just a game but managed to clinch victory courtesy a win over DC Aspirants.

Ahead of the tie, Police recently placed second at this year’s Basketball Festival in Cape-Coast only losing to a select side from Greater Accra Region in the final game and will fancy its chance of making it past Novas.
