Warriors (red) faced a loss prior to a cancelled game against Dunks Knights.
Rangers beat Spartans (green).
Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II side Dunks Knights are winless in four games played this season.

The team’s latest loss came after falling 57-58 to Spartans at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with DCD Aspirants also failing to register a win courtesy a 37-64 to Reformers of Prisons.

Losing to Spartans highlights the team’s story for the season thus far as one of close misses which could have turned Dunks fortunes around.

While losing by a point to the Tudu based side to conclude this week’s round of games hurt, Knights can feel hard done by the natural elements for its loss to Navy Warriors.

The young side was on its way to wrap up a maiden win of the season with a 37-28 lead over Warriors in the original game with six minutes remaining in the final quarter.

However, rain disrupted the game forcing officials to reschedule the tie to Monday September 18 which Knights lost 43-66.

At this juncture, it is pretty safe to say Dunks season has been filled with bad luck.
