Champagne Chalons-Reims missed out on another win in the 2017-2018 French Pro A League following an 86-96 loss to AS Monaco with Ghana Forward Ben Bentil failing to impress.

The ten point loss is Reims second consecutive miss in as many games after losing to ASVEL Lyon in the previous encounter.

After finding his feet in the European league and producing consistent top performances, former Dallas Mavericks Forward Bentil scored just six points in the game.

He registered three assists but as many turnovers and two rebounds to cap off a downturn in production from the 2016 NBA Draftee.

Iceland International, Martin Hermannsson paced Reims in scoring with 16 points; Paul Carter fell a point short off meeting the Icelandic’s mark.

Monaco dominated all stats in the game including turnovers en route to the win despite playing earlier in the week in the Basketball Champions League.

The loss mean Reims record for the season stands at four wins in eight games.
