Ghana Police occupies top spot in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II standings heading to the final round of games in the campaign.

The team is all set to qualify to the elite division alongside second and third ranked Reformers of Prisons and Navy Warriors after all three sides secured crucial wins in the penultimate round.

Police beat Tudu Galaxy 87-46 while Warriors beat Junior Rangers 59-46 and Prisons thumped Dunk Knights 91-63.

Panthers quest to return to the elite division took a big hit following a 66-67 loss in overtime to Junior Reformers in a game Reformers ended with three players on the court due to foul trouble.

Panthers are ranked fourth and will not feature in the final round after completing its set of games in the division. Junior Reformers win is the team’s fifth in 11 games.

Another top performer this week is Akatsi Rifles who clinched a 72-60 win over reeling CYO for its fourth of the season and move up to 10th in the standings. Below is a full breakdown of the standings heading to the final round of games:
