Etoile Sportive Rades has made a winning return to domestic competition in Tunisia after featuring prominently in the just ended FIBA Africa Champions Cup.

Rades hosted the nine day competition but failed to crown the Championship with a gold medal after placing second; Morocco side AS Sale won the tournament.

Games in the Tunisian league were halted in November to enable Rades and Union Sportive Monastir compete in the Champions Cup qualifiers.

With the tournament over, Rades returned to compete on the local scene and scored a 78-63 win over Ezzarha in the first of four games played in Round 8.

Rades lead the standings in Group A with six wins in as many games and is on course for another league title once the season draws to a close.

Former Accra Basketball League player Romeo Enan featured for JS Manazeh to score a 62-60 win over Stade Nabeulien in the final game.

Manazeh-ranked fourth in Group B- had a surprisingly hard time dealing with Nabeulien who have won just a game in seven ties all season.
