Temple University and Ghana Center Ernest Aflakpui put in a good shift in the Owls dominant 85-57 win over University of Connecticut.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I basketball game took place at the Huskies home arena Liacouras Center.

The 6 foot 9 inch Forward scored 13 points in the win for side and gets in to double digit scoring after a poor showing against Penn State.

He added two rebounds and an assist in 32 minutes on the floor to end the contest as one of four Temple players to score in double digits.

Guard Levan Alston Jnr. top scored in the game with 18 points closely followed by Quinton Rose’ 17 points; Aflakpui recorded the third highest points for Temple.

The win improves Temple’s record to 11 wins and 10 losses and matches UCONN’s record of 11 wins in 21 games this season.

NBA Gatorade League outfit Austin Spurs Center Amida Brimah played for UCONN and captained the team in his final year. Brimah won the 2014 National Championship in his first year.
