Chairperson of the Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Victor Abbey has promised schools under the sect of the assembly’s support in all activities.
The veteran Chair made this statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com on the sidelines of Presbyterian Senior High School’s (Osu-PRESEC) visit to the National Headquarters in Accra earlier today.
PRESEC won the 2018 Sprite Ball Championship Male Division courtesy a 25-22 win over Mfantsipim School in the final game.
The win is Greater Accra Region’s first win since Sacred Heart Technical Institute won the women’s division in 2010.
Quizzed on what the assembly has planned to ensure such lofty standards are maintained, Chairperson Abbey stated:
“Yes we will continue to encourage all the Presbyterian schools here in the Greater Accra Region…and cite the example of Osu PRESEC to inspire them to aspire to higher heights in every area of study”.
The visit comes in the aftermath of similar trips to the Accra Mayor’s Office and King Tackei Teiko Tsuru II’s Palace.
