All Nations (green) v KTU

Defending Eastern Zonal Champions All Nations University College will be involved in its second game at the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship under tremendous pressure.

The team must win the game to stand a chance of progressing beyond the preliminary stage in this year’s competition.

All Nations lost its opening tie 31-33 to Koforidua Technical University after taking a 14-9 lead in the first quarter and before losing its way midway.

However, All Nations made a late surge but could not force overtime as Koforidua saw the game out with a two point win.

Ho on the other hand, has a game against Koforidua in the final game of the round meaning a win will boost its chances of topping the zone.

This is Ho’s first time competing in the zone.
Only zonal winners make it to the national championship to be held in Ghana’s capital Accra next month at the University of Ghana.

This year’s UPAC is sponsored by CAL Bank, AshFoam, BetWay and MTN.
