Ho Technical (blue) v Koforidua.

Ho Technical University has successfully recovered from an opening game in the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.

The team has beaten Koforidua Technical University (KTU) 27-12 in its second and final game of the 2018 Eastern Region Zone.

Presbyterian University College failed to show up for the competition meaning the Ho, Korforidua and All Nations University College have to play two games each.

After producing a flat performance against All Nations in its first outing in this year’s tournament, Ho Technical offense turned up.

The team run out early in the game with a 10-0 lead in the opening minutes of the first quarter setting the tone for a 15 point win.

Koforidua scored its first points in the second quarter and had a good run chipping the deficit to three points before Ho’s scoring prowess returned with a bang.

This means each member of the zone bar Presbyterian University College has a win each team eligible to qualify the national games.
