Former Los Angeles Lakers Center Didier Mbenga will be the star guest tonight on premium basketball television show Courtside later today.

The Belgian-Congolese two time NBA Champion is in Ghana and is set to make an appearance on the two hour show on Kwese Free Sport from 16:00-18:00 GMT.

Mbenga follows an elite class of basketball personalities to be profiled on the show; the likes of 2017 NBA Champion David West of Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns Small Forward TJ Warren have been on the show.

Popularly known as “DJ” during his time in the NBA, Mbenga played primarily as a backup Center; with the Lakers he played behind Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.

He enjoyed a seven year NBA career with stops at Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Hornets now Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks.

Former Ghanaian University of Connecticut player Professor Kwasi Gyambibi will be on the show as well to share his thoughts on trending basketball issues and his experiences in College.
