Kintampo (Blue) v UENR
STU v Catholic University (all white strip)

Winner of the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship Zone 4 will be determined later today at the Sunyani Technical University (STU).

Tonight’s scheduled game is a continuation of March 16’s clash between STU and University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) which was rained off prior to the start of the final quarter.

Due to the weather induced disruption, the final quarter of the game will be played at STU at 16:00 GMT following a technical meeting decision involving all parties.

Zone 4 Host STU carries an 18-5 lead to the game and is widely expected to see out the fixture and book a place in the next round of the celebrated tertiary basketball competition.

Both teams recorded respective wins over Kintampo College of Health and Catholic University College, Ghana in the earlier zonal ties.

The winner will represent the zone in next month’s national championship competition featuring winners from seven other zones.

STU is attempting to qualify from the zone for the first time since 2011 while UENR is gunning for a third straight zonal title.
