Valley View lost to Accra Technical University in 2016.

Ahead of Thursday March 22’s UPAC competition in Zone 6, Wisconsin International University College Basketball Coach Albert Djan has made a big statement.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com, the young trainer stated, “we-Wisconsin-have a lot to show Accra Poly but lets wait till that day”.

Accra Technical University (ATU), formerly Accra Polytechnic will host Zone 6 games on Thursday March 22 and is considered favorite to qualify from the zone.

Aside Wisconsin and ATU, the zone has Valley View University and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) competing.

The quartet will be fighting for the zone’s sole spot in the national stage of the competition which is in its fifth edition.

After failing in past editions to make it beyond the preliminary stage, Wisconsin recruited Djan to guide the side after doing same with GIMPA in 2016.

Aside Wisconsin, the remaining teams in the zone have made an appearance in the latter stages of the UPAC Championship.

ATU is a two time winner while Valley View and GIMPA have played in the quarterfinals before.
