Former GSP Basketball League winners Suncity Braves have won an outstanding game in the 2019-2020 season in a recent outing.

Braves clinched a 48-39 win over Techiman Merchants at the Sunyani Technical University (STU) Court as part of Week 6 fixtures.

The game was originally scheduled to be played in Week 3 but the game was postponed by league officials in the fifth year of the league.

The win is Braves fifth in six games this season; Ike Amponsah registered 12 points and nine rebounds and Adjei-Baah had 13 points and five rebounds for Braves.

In other games, LIRoyals beat STU 36-33 with Kelvin Sowah registering 18 points, four assists and four steals. Samuel Bissue had 19 points in the game.

Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints bagged its fourth win in six games thanks largely to the efforts of Forward Harry Gauthier who had 13 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists.

Reigning league champions Young Boys extended its winning streak to six games via a forfeit win over West Siders.
