Shama Senior High School (SHASS) and St. Louis Senior High School get to renew their budding rivalry in the 2020 Sprite Ball Championship after both teams were drawn in Group B.

The 2020 Sprite Ball runs from January 3-4 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra with 12 schools competing in the Boys Division and eight schools competing in the Girls Division.

SHASS and St. Louis met twice in the 2019 edition and had both teams recorded a win apiece; St. Louis beat Shama 21-9 in the group stage matchup.

However, Shama got the last laugh by beating St. Louis 16-14 in the bronze medal game; the win gave Shama its second bronze medal win at Sprite Ball.

The two teams have been drawn in Group b for next year’s competition alongside Wesley Girls High School and Accra Wesley Girls High School.

Defending champions Kumasi Girls Senior High School, Bueman Senior High School, Krobo Girls Senior High School and PRESEC Osu are in Group A.

The top two teams progress from each progress to the semifinals.
