Los Angeles Sparks Forward Chiney Ogwumike has expressed her willingness to host a basketball clinic in Ghana. Sparks is a WNBA Franchise.
She opined she was open to host a clinic in the West African country in a Facebook Live chat with fans as the 2020 WNBA season remains on ice due to the corona virus pandemic with a start date yet to be fixed.

Responding to a question if she would love to host a basketball clinic in Ghana, the former Stanford University standout answered affirmatively.
“Absolutely I would love to…I just was in Ghana in February I went to Kakum National Park which is beautiful I saw Cape Coast so yeah” she said.

Fellow WNBA star player Angel McCoughtry held a basketball clinic in Ghana last year which was the first ever all female basketball clinic organized in the country.

Despite representing the USA internationally, Ogwumike has close ties to Nigeria through her parents and has three sisters who played basketball at the College level.
Her older sister Nneka is a Los Angeles Sparks teammate and both are multiple All Stars.
