Basketballghana.com can confirm Tema Community 4 Basketball Club has signed Steven Foster to its roster for the 2020 Tema Community Basketball League campaign.
The announcement was made public mere hours ago and the move is Community 4’s second in as many days following the capture of Power Forward/Center Mustapha Ahmed from the same team. Both players were on Tema Heat’s roster in the past season.
Foster is an undersized Small Forward whose burly physique has him frequently bulldoze his way to the rim in games; he is a solid on ball defender. Ahmed and Foster join a C4 team that boasts a talented backcourt of Guards Brian Kwami and Kent Fosu.
Community 4 is the latest team in the Tema League to make a run at players this offseason; Spintex Knights have signed two players including reigning Most Valuable Player Award winner Joel Tham.
The additions should serve Community 4 well when the season gets underway later this year when a corona virus induced ban on contact sports is lifted. The virus has infected over 10,000 people in Ghana at the time of writing.
2017 League Champions C4 exited the second round of the playoffs in the past campaign.
