Basketballghana.com can confirm the Tema Basketball League (TBL) is on a rebranding campaign with an aim to build the league’s profile beyond basketball circles in Ghana.

This was confirmed in a Press Release issued earlier today with the statement pointing out explicitly the details of the rebranding process and its associated tenets.

Organizing Secretary of the League, Prince Owusu Anning, had in an earlier interview announced the impending move as part of activities prior to the start of the 2020 League season at the Tema Community 4 Court.

The league has a new logo and the elements’ representation was explained in the release with the Black Star at the apex of the logo representing “The Black Star of Hope”. It was adopted from Ghana’s National Flag.
