Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian-Italian Small Forward Awudu Abass featured in a limited capacity in a win over one his former teams.

Abass played 13 minutes in Virtus Bologna’s 73-68 win over Olimpia Milano in the Italian Serie A; Abass played for Milano and won the league title during his time at the club.

The 28 year old player who also plays the Shooting Guard registered four points and three rebounds off the bench with the Milos Teodosic and Vince Hunter leading Bologna with 12 points.

Abass converted one of a trio of three point shots and scored one of two free throws in the contest while grabbing all three rebounds on the defensive end.

The loss is Milano’s first of the season and the first in 12 games; Abass played for Milano from 2016 to 2018 and won the league after moving from Cantu.

This is Abass’ debut season with Virtus Bologna and has had an up and down campaign with Bologna ranked fourth with seven wins and five losses.
